All contest entries that were entered BEFORE September 1st have been lost. My computer crashed and i lost everything so if you entered before September 1st (i believe there were 3) please re enter. If you are worried that your amv might have been lost but are not sure please feel free or ask me - email at kaliel14@rochester.rr.com and i will inform you if i have your entry on file. All entries after sep. 2nd are fine, they werre saved in my email untill i could retrieve them. Sorry for the inconvinence.

Tsunami Studios Fall 2004 Anime Music Video Contest

Well the last winter contest that was planned didnt exactly work out but this one is a sure thing.

Since this is our 2nd contest things are gonna be easier and alot smoother. We're also more open this time around. Well good luck!

Judges:

(as usual) will me Tsunami, Washu (aka Saquie) and Tokimi

Catagories:

Best Action Adventure

Best Drama/Tearjerker

Best Comedy/Parody

Best Romance/Pairing

Best Special Effects/Transitions (aka most creative and well put together)

Best Overall (single anime)

Best Overall (various)

Note:

If your video wins for Best Comedy/Parody but it is not a parody then the title will be altered to Best Comedy on your winning banner. The same with the other catagories.

If you entered your video under one catagory and we believe it belongs in another we will try to contact you and ask your permission to change the catagory if we believe it stands a better chance in the other catagory.

All Video's entered will also be entered under Best Overall, any video may win this award.

Dates:

Videos will be accepted the entire month of September. The earliest a video may be entered is Saptember 1st and the latest is September 30th.

Judging will take place on October 1st and 2nd and the winners will be e-mailed and annonced on the site on October 3rd(this may be altered according to the judges scheduels).

Registration:

-This is an Online contest and AMV's will only be accepted two ways:

1.) recieved in e-mail (preferable)

2.) E-mailing us a link to the site that the AMV can be found on

(if the link does not work you will be notified and you're AMV will have to be re-registered also please do not give me instructions to find your link on amv.org or any other site, the link must be direct or in the case of amv.org directly to the video info page)

All AMV registrations must be sent to Rose-Tsunami at

When entering, the following information is requiered in the e-mail:

Name (or name you wished to be called by, such as a nickname)

Your Web Site Name/URL (optional)

Studio (if any, optional)

E-mail/Screen Name (where we can get ahold of you, AIM only for s/n's please)

AMV Title

Song (title and artist please)

Anime Used (various is accepted but if it's only 1 or 2 please list)

AMV Catagory (catagory you wish to enter, you may apply for more then one)

NOTE: The AMV catagory may be changed as the judges see fit (see above)

Prize:

The prize will be standard issue for online contests, a banner saying which award you won, for what catagory and so on. Also a picture will be included from your video or using the anime used in your video. You're name posted on our site with the banner and a link to your site.

NOTE: For each award you win (if more then one) you will recieve a seperate banner for each. If any changes need to be made to your name or website or anything else please make it when we e-mail you telling you that you have won and what you have won. Thank You.

This contest is basicly for simple videos. The amount of transitions and special effects is not what we're looking for. The theme, the story behind the AMV is the purpose for this contest.

this award could be won by an AMVthat is tragic, sad or both

this award could be won by an AMV that is funny, sexual in nature or both

this award could be won by an AMV that best fits its music to the video

Example: If an AMV won for the Drama/Tearjerker and made us cry, the award would be changed to "Best Tearjerker"
